Macdonald High School
Macdonald High School is a safe, welcoming school committed to instructing, socializing, and certifying students while fostering their full potential.
About
The School
Macdonald High School is located on unceded land that has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Kanien’kehà:ka and Anishinabeg nations.
We are grateful for the opportunity to gather here, and we thank the many generations of people who have taken care of this land and these waters.
Today, the Greater Montreal area is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples. We respect the continued connections with the past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Inigenous and other peoples within our community.
Having opened its doors in 1907, the Macdonald High School building is now over 110 years old, and combines historical charm with modern conveniences.
The school sits on Macdonald campus, sharing a space with John Abbott College and McGill University. Located on a quiet street only a short walk from the village of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, our facilities include a robotics workshop, a recently renovated library and gym, a state of the art fitness room and a variety of active learning classrooms.
