Description

The Medical Secretary program prepares you for a career in the health or social service sector. Graduates from our medical secretary program play a vital role in healthcare by supporting doctors and other medical professionals. By studying to be a medical secretary, you’ll gain skills in medical terminology, office management, and patient communication, setting you up for a rewarding career with opportunities for advancement and job stability. This program will prepare you to join the critical world of Medical Secretaries.

Located in Pierrefonds, the West Island Career Centre (WICC) offers eight programs in three areas of study including our state of the art automobile mechanics program.


Vocational Application Process

Review and complete our Application Package.

Submit the application package along with all required documents and application fee via our contact page.

 Application and required documents will be reviewed by the International Admissions team. Once approved, payment will be processed and Letter of Acceptance (LOA) will be issued.

Students will need to apply for their Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ), Study Permit and CO-OP Permit. (Note: you can apply for your co-op work permit at the same time as the Study Permit.)

Send a copy of your permits to the International Programs office as soon as you receive the response for each permit. It’s essential that you advise the International Programs office if you receive a refusal letter (even if you intend on reapplying).

Confirm your attendance by providing all of the following at least 60 days  prior to the start of the course:
